Opacity is what catches people out. A fabric that reads as sheer on a screen can block far more light than you expect, and the gap between light-filtering and room-darkening is obvious in your hands and invisible online.
Bring photos of your rooms. We will put fabrics and colours side by side, show you how each style actually operates, and let you work a motorized shade before you commit to one.
A light-filtering fabric: daylight softened, the view kept. The same shade in a room-darkening fabric blocks it entirely.
Motorized Shades & PowerView® Automation
Nearly every Hunter Douglas covering can be ordered motorized. It earns its keep on tall windows, wide spans, and any room where reaching the cord has quietly become somebody's job.
- App and remote — the PowerView® App or a Pebble® remote, one covering at a time or a whole room at once.
- Schedules — shades open and close on their own, on the clock or with sunrise and sunset.
- Scenes — several coverings move to preset positions together.
- Voice — works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant through the PowerView® Gateway.

Why the check measure matters: Hunter Douglas treatments are built to your measurements and cannot be exchanged if those measurements are wrong. So we take them, not you.
