Upholstery is decided long before the fabric goes on.
Frame, padding, proportion, the line of an arm, the depth of a seat. These are choices, and they are ours to get right. Every piece is assessed, planned and built by the same team in one workroom, so nothing is lost between a drawing and a delivery.

A good frame outlasts its fabric, usually by decades.
Older furniture was often built with hardwood frames, hand-tied springs and joinery that is difficult to find in new pieces at any price. If the bones are sound, reupholstering keeps what is worth keeping and replaces only what has worn out.
We look at the frame, the suspension, the padding and the existing cover, then tell you what the piece actually needs and whether it is worth doing.

Standard sizes assume standard rooms. When a wall is short, a ceiling slopes, an entry is narrow or a bay window refuses to match anything in a catalogue, custom stops being a luxury and becomes the only thing that fits.
We build upholstered furniture to measure. Sofas, sectionals, chairs, ottomans, benches and cushions, made to the dimensions your room actually has.

Custom upholstered beds and headboards in your choice of size, shape, fabric, colour and detailing, whether buttoned, channelled, piped or plain.
A headboard is one of the few pieces where a few inches of height changes the whole room. Built to order, that becomes a decision rather than an accident.

Our Main Street showroom holds thousands of upholstery fabrics, and our team will narrow them down with you by use, by light, and by how the piece has to live.

A sofa in a south-facing living room with two dogs is a different brief from an accent chair in a guest room. Before fabric is chosen, it is worth being honest about which one you have.
We will talk through wear, light exposure, cleanability and construction, so the piece still looks right in five years and not only on delivery day.

Our showroom is at 8449 Main Street, Unit 108, Vancouver, BC. We work with clients across Metro Vancouver and the surrounding Lower Mainland, including the North Shore, Burnaby, Richmond and the Tri-Cities.
Visiting in person is the fastest way to start. Fabric, frame and finish decisions are far easier to make with the material in front of you.

Upholstery Questions, Answered
Is my piece worth reupholstering?
Usually it comes down to the frame. If the joinery and suspension are sound, reupholstering a well-built piece is often the better choice than replacing it. We will assess it and tell you what we find.
Can you work from a photograph or a sketch?
Yes. A photo, a drawing or a reference image is a perfectly good starting point, and our team will work through dimensions and detailing with you from there.
Can I supply my own fabric?
Speak with our team about fabric sourced outside our showroom. We will confirm whether it suits the piece and the way it will be used before anything is cut.
Can you match or rebuild a piece I already own?
We can work from an existing piece, whether that means recovering it, rebuilding it, or making something new to sit alongside it.
Do you take commercial or contract work?
Yes. We work with contractors and trade professionals on projects of every scale, including commercial seating.
